Swedish bed cloth

In the making of images on old Swedish bed cloths I'm in a process of experimenting with bleach, hair dye, paint, print and burn out on collages of woollen fabrics. 

 

The fabrics are vowen with brightly coloured stripes between natural colours of white, grey or brown.

 

Sewn together edge-to-edge the stripes makes syncopated rhythms which creates an impression of depth underneath my added images.
